In case you haven’t yet heard, Bobby Flay was here in Raleigh yesterday and challenged local Ed Mitchell to a Ribs and Beans Throw Down. Yep, we were there front and center for the event.
While most of the attendees found out about it from an online posting, I was lucky enough to get a call from Food Network a couple weeks ago to get a heads up. Of course I had no idea it was going to be a Throw Down.
It was a really cold and rainy day but a lot of people still showed up for the taping. It was definitely an experience. Of course neither served as good as Ribs as I do![Smile [:)]](/emoticons/emotion-1.gif)
, but great food was served by both.
Who won??? Well you’ll have to wait for the airing in May! I would highly recommend that all Rib lovers watch this episode!
(now if I could've only had my wife focus on us instead of the balloons in the background...!)
